Twelve years before the events at the focus of the series, Kyuubi attacks the Hidden Leaf Village(Konohagakure). It was powerful enough to create tsunamis and destroy mountains with a swish of one of its tails, and it raised chaos and killed many peoples, until the 4th Hokage sacrificed his life to seal the demon inside Naruto when he was a born. The Fourth Hokage's last wish was that for Naruto to be treated as a hero like him, for being the holder of Kyuubi.
Unfortuneatly, the village isolated him, respecting him as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. The Third Hokage forbid anyone to discuss or mention the destruction made by Kyuubi to anyone. However, this did not stop them from treating him like an outcast. As a result he grew up as an orphan with no friends, family, or acknowledgment. Struggling to be noticed, he would play pranks, and cause mischief, hoping to befriend people.
Very soon, it changes when Naruto finally graduates from the Ninja Academy by using Kage Bunshin. He uses the technique to save his teacher Umino Iruka from another teacher Mizuki(in epsidode 1). During those events, he finds out that he contains Kyuubi.
His graduation from the academy, then leads on to the adventures with his new team, and he makes friends, and starts to understand the ninja life.
So basically, the anime and manga is about an isolated boy who proves himself to the world, and develops more and more friends and rivals in his ninja life.

Naruto Uzumaki(うずまき　ナルト) Seiyuu:Junko Takeuchi Voice Actor: Maile Flanagan Village: Konohagakura No Sato(Leaf Village) DOB: October 10 Rank: Genin Team: 7 Jutsu/Abilities: Kage Bunshin(Shadow Clone Technique) Rasengan Summoning: Toads	Age: 12-13, 15 in Shippuden Naruto's personality is very loud, eager, and he has an urge to get stronger. These traits usually rub off on others, and inspire them. He acts impulsive, which is more heavily noted in the very first episodes. He also shows an intense liking to ramen, being one of the only foods he is seen eating. Throughout every single character's development, most are because of Naruto. Since his ability to change others has helped many other characters, he's also gotten friends from such an ability. His first friends are with Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. Although Sasuke and Naruto have a competitve rivalry toawrd each other, Sasuke reveals that he considers each other best friends, and Naruto considers it a brotherhood(as said in their fight when Sasuke leaves). With the event of Sasuke levaing the leaf village, Naruto vows to Sakura to do anything to get him back to her. Since he holds Kyuubi, he is capable of summoning the demon fox's chakra, or even form into him. Whenever the demon fox starts to consume Naruto, his eyes turn red, and teeth and claws form. As more of the tails(nine-tailed fox) appear, Naruto becomes less aware of himself.
Sakura Haruno(春野サクラ) Seiyuu:Chie Nakamura Voice Actor:Kate Higgins Village: Konohagakura No Sato(Leaf Village) DOB: March 28 Rank: Chunin Team: 7 Jutsu/Abilities: The only unique jutsu she has is: Sakura Blizzard(Sakura Fubuki) That jutsu has been used only once, in the first movie.	Age:12-13, 15 in Shippuden In the beginning of the anime series, Sakura had an immense crush on Sasuke, attempting to him, talk to him, and spend time with him. Her infatuation was more direct than later on in the series. Before the mid-point of the Chunin Exams arc, Sakura's hair was long, which she started to grow long to impress Sasuke. Her long-term crush eventually turns into a concern for him, with his curse mark and his leaving the village. She would also neglect Naruto, thinking of him and immature, stupid, and trying to get in the way. By the mid-point of the Chunin Exams, she sees the strength both her teammates hold, and tries her best to change afterward. Sakura also has a manifestation of her feelings, known as 'Inner Sakura'. It would say her inner feelings, usually mad ones, chanting 'Shannaro', or 'Cha!' in the English. Inner Sakura doesn't appear after the Chunin Exams, probably from Sakura feeling more comfortable with herself, and speaking her mind. Inner Sakura's last appearance was fighting Ino in the Chunin Exams. Sakura eventually trains to become a healer(medic-nin), realizing her chakra control can benefit her skills better. Sakura's ability of jutsu has been completely shunned out(other than in the preliminary rounds of the Chunin Exams) in the series, but her chakra control has been noted more throughout the series, and widely recognized in Shippuden.
Sasuke Uchiha(うちはサスケ) Seiyuu:Noriaki Sugiyama Voice Actor:Yuri Lowenthal Village: Konohagakura No Sato(Leaf Village) DOB:July 23 Rank:Nukenin(missing-nin) Team:Snake Jutsu/Abilities: Chidori Sharingan(kekkei-genkai) Heaven-Curse Seal Mark Summoning: Snakes(in Shippuden)	Age: 12-13, 15 in Shippuden As a child, Sasuke looked up to his brother Itachi, until their clan was completely wiped out by his brother, when Sasuke was 9. Since then, he has considered himself an avenger, and that was his only purpose. When he is assigned to Team 7 when he's 12, his confidence in his abilities uprise. In the beginning of the series, he is very unwilling to work with his teammates, thinking of them as useless, and would never help him in improving. He is eventually proven wrong of this, and starts to rely more on the ones closer to him. During the Chunin Exams, he would test his abilities by sparring with those stronger than him, to find his weaknesses. Also during then, Orochimaru had given him the Heaven Curse Mark. Later he learns Chidori, a jutsu from Kakashi. From his uproar of power, Naruto starts to want the Chidori as well, but learns a more powerful jutsu, the Rasengan. With Sasuke's envy growing more powerful, he starts to believe that his growth in power was slowing down. With that, he leaves Konoha, and goes to Orochimaru for power. Even though he is being used as a vessel that Orochimaru would eventually kill, he disregards that, as long as he can kill Itachi.
Kakashi Hatake(はたけカカシ) Seiyuu:Kazuhiko Inoue Voice Actor:Dave Wittenberg Village: Konohagakura No Sato(Leaf Village) DOB:September 15 Rank:Jonin Team:7 Jutsu/Abilities: Sharingan(from Obito Uchiha) Chidori Summoning: Dogs	Age: 26-27, 29 in Shippuden Kakashi's entire past is left unknown except for the fact that all his loved ones are dead. After the death of Obito Uchiha(one of his teammates when he was a Genin), he was emotionally changed, and was given one Sharingan eye, after his real one was slashed. As a result, he keeps only one eye visible. Kakashi is capable of doing any jutsu with his Sharingan, and is known as the 'Copy Ninja'. He keeps his entire personal life away from his students, and usually uses philosphies that Obito believed in. Seeing that they work, he continues them on Sasuke, when he realizes that he has become power-hungry. During this time, he spills out a hinted part of his past. He is portrayed as laid back, but very serious. Something noted, and even used as an advantage that is a part of Kakashi's traits is that he is seen reading Icha Icha(Make Out). They are a famous best-selling book, made by Jiraiya. Icha Icha is a book that he is seen reading mostly in the beginning of the series, and his down-fall in a battle between Naruto and Sakura in Shippuden.

...In My Own Opinion...
Exactly how many people didn't like Naruto, even when they first started watching it..? To be honest, in a way, I was almost one of those people. The beginning episodes didn't have the best quality when it first came out, but it eventually progressed throughout the episodes. Besides that, the anime obviously has a lot in it, one of the more complex kinds of animes. It even gives off its own universe, geography, and actual facts about the body- Which, even for a shounen anime is great. Although, my favorite thing about Naruto is that its ability to switch from something serious to something totally funny and stupid. Sure, it's completely obvious, but the jumps from one thing another is very smooth. This was actually the very first shounen anime I ever started watching.. Before it, I mainly watched seinen anime.

When I found out they were having an English version, I decided I'd track it down- I was really surprised. I expected it to be a lot better, and on that 'Adult Swim' or something, with the vulgar language and violence it has- Bleach kept all(or most) of its original dialogue, right? Sometimes- in such occasions as this anime- That they kept the Japanese dialogue and subbed or something. Honestly, they got most of the voices right, even Naruto's, but he yells too much- He seems even angrier in the English version.. Of course, that is just my opinion. Overall, Naruto is a great anime.

Bleach is an anime/manga made Tite Kubo.

The story opens with the sudden appearance of Rukia Kuchiki in Ichigo Kurosaki's bedroom. She is surprised at his ability to see her, but their resulting conversation is interrupted by the appearance of a "hollow", an evil spirit. After Rukia is severely wounded while trying to protect Ichigo, she intends to transfer half her powers to Ichigo, hoping to give him the opportunity to face the hollow on equal footing. Ichigo unintentionally absorbs almost all her powers instead, allowing him to defeat the hollow with ease.
The next day, Rukia appears in Ichigo's classroom as a transfer student. Much to his surprise, she appears to be a normal human. She theorizes that it was the unusual strength of Ichigo's spirit that caused him to absorb almost all her powers, thus leaving her stranded in the human world. Rukia has transferred herself into a gigai — an artificial human body — while waiting to recover her abilities. In the meantime, Ichigo must take over her job as a Soul Reaper, battling hollows and guiding lost souls to Soul Society.

Ichigo Kurosaki / 黒崎一護 Seiyuu:Masazaku Morita Voice Actor: Johnny Yong Bosch Other stuff: Soul Reaper Human Main Character Zanpakuto: Zangetsu (斬月) DOB: July 15	Age: 15-16 He is main character of Bleach, who is forced into being a soul reaper(shinigami) after absorbing Rukia's powers. At first, he hates it, and wishes it'd go away. After fighting a few hollows, he realizes he can use it to protect people close to him, and get used to it. Ichigo usually tries to act calm, but when he's annoyed, he gets really angry. Ichigo possess both Shinigami powers and Hollow powers and trains with Kisuke Urahara. His inner hollow is actually an evil alter ego. Ichigo's zanpakuto is relatively very large, which is something that's mentioned a lot(or at least, in the beginning of the series..). *If you have anything to add, add it please!
Rukia Kuchiki / 朽木ルキア Seiyuu: Fumiko Orikasa Voice Actor: Michelle Ruff Soul Reaper(shinigami) 13th Divsion Zanpakuto: Sode No Shirayuki DOB: January 14	Age: Does anyone know? Rukia died as an infant and was sent to the Soul Society with her older sister Hisana(Hisana died about 50 years before the onset of the series, by the way..) Rukia is the person who's shinigami powers are given to Ichigo when the patrols his town. Rukia usually argues a lot with Ichigo, but also portrays herself as a wise old sage with a bunch of wisdom. *Add anything else that you want!

The Add Your Own Page was created today. It's for pages you wanna create that have your own opinion on anime, and all the other things that are described on it. Visit it for more information.
Yeah. I'm sure you've noticed there's a new banner. It's for the summertime and everything, so once fall comes, it'll be changed. The banner is probably going to be changed for several occasions. If you have your own, you can display it on the Banner Ads page and tell me that it's a banner for the site(that way I know it's for the site, and not an ad!). Or, of you're an administrator, you can add it yourself. Just keep it appropriate!

First, just a notice for the long absence:
- I forgot to inform this place that I wasn't going to update for a month for traveling purposes and stuff. So if you got worried, we're back! =) lol
- Other than the above note, the rest of this update will be actual update(s).
9 Avatars were added on the Avatar Page.
- No big deal, but there's 66 avatars in total, so we're reaching 100 soon(maybe not)! I prefer that if you guys post any, that they don't have bad language in them. PLEASE!
The Music Page was created.
- 'Nuff said- Music is a really important thing in anime, since it's in almost all the animes. There are only about 8-9 songs, so that isn't much. It'll be updated, though.

There were so many updates that were made, I'll just list them:

9 Avatars were added to the Avatar Page.
- There are nine avatars in each row, so I'll add one row each time I visit the page. THAT GOES FOR EVERYONE(UNLESS YOU'RE NOT EDITING)!!!=) Also, there's a table that keeps count of the avatars, so remember to edit that too if you add anything. So far, there are 56 of them. 54 of them are 100 by 100, and 2 of them are larger(Not kept in specific pixel size). They don't have to be animated or anything, just avatar size.
Misc. Wallpaper Page was added.
- I had a wallpaper that was anime-drawn, but didn't relate to anime. Since it was drawn in the style, it was reasonable to post it here. If you don't know what kind of wallpapers can go underneath the Misc. Page, they can be anime drawn, but relating to something of pop culture or something(that's what set it aside from the regular wallpaper page!). The one that is posted on the page is for a rock band.
Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne Wallpaper Page was added.
- I saw the wallpaper, and I thought it looked so pretty, I had to put it here. Seriously, it's beautiful. You don't even need to know about the anime to use it because it is so nice-looking.

I'm not sure if anyone's noticed the Avatar Page yet, so I'll just announce it- There's an Avatar Page, located above the Wallpaper on the Navigation. There are only 48 avatars, but the page was just added, so there'll be more coming.
Is anyone thinking about changing the homepage's layout.. I am. You've probably recognized that old updates are still there, and it makes this place look inactive. If you have any suggestions, PLEASE tell me! For now, I'm probably going to cover it up with a really large picture.

Yes, also there is a Banner Ads Page too. It wasn't going to be made, but I had to find a place to put one of my favorite banners. I was originally going to use it to have on the side of some of the wetpaint websites, but the things you had to do to get the ad there was too much- Plus, you had to pay to have advertisements on the Internet. There's only one, but if I ever change my mind, I'll probably add more- I really wish there was the option of making a text area box on wetpaint. It would make the codes a lot more neater... Either that, or DIVs.

I was browsing for no odd reason, and I found a lot of nice pictures that would be suitable for wallpapers. Since the wallpapers page hasn't been updated for a while, I decided I would add them. Unfortuneatly, neither have an image link, so I just posted them as they were. Both were from different animes, and I thought it was a great oppurtunity to make a new page. One was from Naruto: Shippuden, and the other was from Chobits. So I ended up making two new pages. That's okay though.

I'll put this up too, under Miscellaneous.

On the Jigoku Shoujo and Death Note page, there is a page for watching episodes. So yeah, you can watch the anime now, other than just looking at its stats. I plan on doing that for all the animes, but for some of them like Naruto- It'll take longer to get all the episodes. Of course, I will do them all, just on separate pages. Unfortuneatly, the playlists of the videos are not in episode order for either Death Note or Jigoku Shoujo, so you might have to search for it before watching it.
So far, the wallpaper page hasn't been updated do to the amount of pictures that won't upload to my computer. >_<
If you have any suggestions, posting it on a thread here will make it more likely to be acknowledged.

Shortly after 'finishing' the Naruto Page, the Jigoku Shoujo Page was put up. I'm sure not that many people have heard of Jigoku Shoujo, and I wasn't sure if people outside of Asia knew about it either. So now everyone can find out about it. To be honest, the Jigoku Shoujo Page is finished, but I plan on adding more characters that seemed important in the story. I only put the main characters that everyone actually care abouts. ^^ If you have any suggestions, tell me. Seriously, add a thread or something..

You might've noticed by now that there's a Naruto Page in the アニメ!!!List. There are only 3 characters that are listed though. I'm mainly working on finding links for the openings and endings, episodes and episode list, etc.
Also, the Wallpaper Page was made just recently. So far, there are 6 regular anime wallpapers, and 3 Bleach Wallpapers. More will be put in later on.
I have a question: Should there be a page for Anime Avatars? I have a lot on my computer, so I'm just wondering. Do you have any either?

I was actually intending to use one of the banners to advertise on wetpaint, but then I found out I had to pay... I thought it looked so nice, so I'm posting all the advertising banner here. You can use them too. Just, add the link to us.

Jigoku Shoujo is a horror anime about Enma Ai, a girl who lives in eternal twilight with her grandmother. She has her own website, 'Hell Correspondence', where you can type in the name of a person you want revenge on. She would give you a doll, with a red string attatched to it- If you untie the string to truly eliminate your antagonist, they will go immediately to Hell. Although, when the life of the person who untied the string ends, a mark appears on their chest, as a reminder that they will go to Hell when they die.
Enma Ai's clients, along with herself, give out the revenge, and are also the straw dolls she gives out. Usually depending on the person, each punishment is different, usually for having them learning a lesson before going to Hell. Enma Ai has been fulfilling her task for 400 hundred years.
In the very first season of Jigoku Shoujo, it centers around individual stroies, until the second season which settles down at only one story plot.

Ai Enma(閻魔あい) Seiyuu:Mamiko Noto Voice Actor:Brina Palencia	Age: Unknown(deceased, lving in afterlife) Ai Enma is the main protagonist of the series. In her past, she was buried alive, and her eyes turned red because Sentaro(her childhood soulmate) had given her the first shove of soil in her face. She eventually broke out of her grave, and burned her village to the ground for revenge. Since then, her punishment was to deliver revenge and victims to Hell. Although, it is just atonement, it is never revealed when she is freed of it. In the first season, Ai shows no emotion, probably resulting the fact that she has done her job for nearly 400 hundred years. By season two, she allows to express her emotions, but in odd ways- Such as teleporting and hurling blasts of energy when she's angry. [Spoilers in season 3]
Wanyuudo(輪入道) Seiyuu:Takayuki Sugo Voice Actor:R. Bruce Elliot	Age: Unknown Wanyuudo is the first of Ai's clients. He appears to be a weak, old man that wears traditional Japanese clothing, and a red scarf around his neck. He appears to be the chariot that Ai uses to travel to the human world, and back to her twilight. In the beginning of the series, Wanyuudo(who turns into the black doll) is the only straw doll that Ai hands out to people who went to the Hell Hotline website. Ai reveals that Wanyuudo has the ability to shapeshift.
Ren Ichimoku (一目連) Seiyuu:Masaya Matsukaze Voice Actor:Todd Haberkorn	Ren is Ai's second companion, and takes the form of a young man. Usually, when delivering punishments before Ai claims their soul, he manifests a large eye, which can be projected anywhere. In the series, he is revealed to be an artifical spirit, and originally a katana. He is abandoned from his rock, and joins Ai. Ai asks him to join her because she thinks he is looking for something. He is actually looking to fill the emtiness he has, because as a katana, he can only be used for killing. In the series, Ren has grown fond of his human form, and shows vanity over the course of the anime. Ren takes the form of a blue straw doll.
Hone Onna (骨女) Seiyuu:Takaka Honda Voice Actor:Jennifer Samen	Age: 200(remember, she's already dead!) Hone Onna is the thrid companion of Ai. She takes the form of a woman in a kimono, and the obi is tied in the front(it is tied in the back in season two). She takes the form of a red straw doll. Out of the three clients for Ai, she usually dresses in casual clothing for investigating cases. She suffers from mild vanity, disliking being called oba-san, or 'old lady'. Before meeting Ai, she was betrayed by a man she fell in love with, and sold to prostitution. When she tried to escape, she was killed by a samurai. Her original name was Tsuyu.

...In My Own Opinion...

It is a seinen anime, after all, but it's art style is way too good for seinen, way too good for shounen, in fact, the effort into making the characters is by far the best I have ever since. The creators obviously work really hard to make sure every single scene looks perfect. Other than that, the anime is obviously fun to watch, and I don't know why. The endings are colorful, and the openings have amazing songs. The scary background music actually helps in setting the scary moods for things. My favorite part of it is the crazy unsuspected pasts the characters have. Including Ai's.
Although the very first season slightly bored me with the fact that the same things happened over and over again. I love the fact that each episode is individual and different, but the dialogue Enma Ai says is so annoying to hear after all. Of course, the creators didn't find this out until the second season. This shows how much a long boring plot can be more entertaining.
Although, the anime was really good by art and plot, you know, when everything started lining up.
